Gastric bypass Surgery in Delhi
Gastric bypass surgery, also known as Roux-en-Y gastric bypass (RYGB), is a surgical procedure used to help individuals with severe obesity lose weight by altering the anatomy of the digestive system. It is one of the most common and effective types of bariatric surgery available.

Here's an overview of gastric bypass surgery:

Procedure:

Gastric bypass surgery is typically performed under general anesthesia.
The surgeon creates a small pouch at the top of the stomach by stapling across it, separating it from the rest of the stomach.
The small intestine is then divided, and the lower portion is attached directly to the newly created stomach pouch, forming a "Roux limb."
The upper portion of the divided small intestine, called the "biliopancreatic limb," is then connected to the Roux limb, allowing digestive juices from the liver and pancreas to mix with food further down the intestine.
This rearrangement of the digestive tract reduces the amount of food the stomach can hold and alters the absorption of nutrients, leading to weight loss.
