A multi-city flight does not follow the conventional there-and-back pattern, but rather travels from Point A to Point B and then to Point C. (and possibly Point D, etc). A multi-city itinerary can be used to arrange a stopover, visit many locations in one trip, or return to a different airport from where you began. A multi-stop journey might be one of the most efficient and enjoyable ways to explore the world, but it can also be a difficult type of travel to plan and book. Most companies limit the number of legs each journey to 5 or 6.
