Winter months are the time when we do not feel thirst. But senior citizens, even on normal days do not feel thirsty. So, they can become dehydrated and that is why it is recommended to make them drink about 2 to 3 liters of lukewarm water each day. Make sure that they are adequately hydrated in the winter months by offering them a hot water bottle. As well as checking whether they are drinking water at regular intervals or not. Also, it is possible to replace some amount of water with hot beverages, soups, and fresh juices.
