Artemis in the Bible, held a significant status as a powerful deity in both Greek and Roman mythology. Artemis is the goddess of the hunt, wilderness and childbirth. Artemis is the daughter of Zeus, the king of the Gods and Leto (also known as Letona). She is one of the children born to Zeus and Leto, with her twin brother being Apollo. Artemis and Apollo are often referred to as the twin siblings of the Olympian Gods.
