IELTS is basically a test that requires a candidate to have a mastery of four key language skills viz. listening, reading,
writing and speaking. The test helps in determining his/her proficiency in listening, reading, writing and speaking within a period of 3 hours.
In general, two kinds of IELTS tests are conducted i.e. IELTS Academic and IELTS General Training.
Although commonly Listening and Speaking are included in both the tests,
yet the subject matter of the Reading and Writing parts can vary based on the type of test you undergo.The Listening, Reading and Writing parts of all IELTS tests are carried out on the same day,
making no breaks in between them.The Speaking part, on the other hand, can be carried out almost seven days preceding or following the other tests.
