Enrolled Agent is a federally authorized tax practitioner entitledre by the U.S.A. Department of the Treasury. Enrolled agents play the part of taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for tax issues including collections, audits, and appeals. According to the National Association of Enrolled Agents, approximately 53,000 Enrolled Agents are practicing across all 50 U.S. states.
