The Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent Protection (RCBO) is a specialized electrical protection device that combines the functions of a Residual Current Device (RCD) and a Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) or Circuit Breaker (CB) into a single unit. RCBOs provide both ground fault protection (by detecting leakage currents) and overcurrent protection (by detecting and responding to overloads and short circuits) in a single device.
