Situated next to Gujarat's Narmada city on the small island of Sadhu Bet lies the Statueof Unity, also called the Sardar Vallabhbhai Statue. The Statue of Unity, which was unveiled on October 31, 2018, is roughly 182 meters tall. On the 143rd anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth, our honourable prime minister, Shri Narendra Modi, dedicated this magnificent and mind-boggling enormous building. During its brisk 46-month development, this popular tourist spot in Gujarat reportedly employed some 3000 workers and 250 engineers. The statue is roughly 30 meters taller than the Chinese Spring Temple Buddha and has twice the scale of the Statue of Liberty. This emblematic building can also resist winds of up to 60 meters per second.
